Plan beyond the party invite

Chapter 1 expanded regional Sanctuary groups to ten players. Chalice of Muspel is a confirmed Sanctuary addition; Snowfield of Sorrow was named in the Chapter 1 announcement.

Before recruiting, decide on a starting time, expected session length and whether everyone is learning. A larger roster needs a shared plan for late arrivals and breaks as well as combat.

Use clear, limited assignments

Choose one main caller, then give other players specific responsibilities when the observed encounter requires them. Several people calling every action can overwhelm the group.

• State who starts the pull and who checks readiness.
• Keep recovery availability visible or communicated.
• Assign backup responsibility when a player is learning an essential task.
• Use short target and position names that the entire group understands.
• Stop between attempts to update one assignment instead of debating during combat.

Use learning time well

Choose a milestone for the session: reaching an unfamiliar sequence, keeping all players alive through a known one, or completing a first clear. Review that milestone after a few attempts.

Collect observations from the players closest to the failure. Distinguish what they saw from what the group guessed. Turn the most likely explanation into one change for the next pull.

Check access and rewards as a group

Open the current entry panel before finalizing the roster. Confirm difficulty, equipment requirements, available window and claim eligibility. For a reward run, each player should know whether the destination advances their own progression.

Do not promise a historic first-clear event reward to a routine clear group. The catalog separates publisher-announced rewards from general preparation.
