Identity and availability

NC’s July 2026 Chapter 1 report introduces Brawler as a frontline class using Gauntlets. Basic attacks and active skills generate Rage; reaching the required gauge triggers Rampage.

This is regional evidence. If you play global, choose from the actual character-creation roster rather than planning around the class’s appearance in a Korean guide.

Who may enjoy it

As editorial guidance, consider Brawler if you enjoy a close-range martial fighter and watching a class resource alongside the encounter. You should want to learn when to commit to an attack sequence and when survival requires changing the plan.

Its identity does not establish current damage rankings, the best resource sequence or an exact Rampage duration.

Learn the resource loop

When Brawler is available in your service, use a low-risk encounter to understand the tools you actually have.

  • Locate the Rage display and read the current descriptions of generating actions.
  • Observe when the state changes and what the interface says Rampage changes.
  • Check whether a movement or combo action changes your position and how safely you can stop.
  • Practice responding to danger even when the gauge is close to a transition.
  • Review the attempt before adopting a sequence from another patch.

Solo and group habits

For solo practice, keep the initial pull small and leave room for movement. Gauge management is easier to learn when you can identify which enemy action forced your response.

In a party, agree on your assignment and follow the group target. Check the destination of movement-based attacks before using them, especially near hazards or additional enemies. A resource window is not a reason to ignore the encounter plan.

Compare before committing

Gladiator provides a greatsword melee identity, while Assassin emphasizes precision and paired blades. Use those global profiles to understand your preferences if Brawler is unavailable in your service.

Build details should name the region, patch and current skill effects. The regional introduction alone does not support a numerical rotation or equipment priority list.
