Five collection families

The guide groups pets into five families. English labels below are editorial translations.

Unlocking and understanding

Pet souls can come from the corresponding monster or rewards. Further souls for an owned pet increase understanding, up to level 5. Pet level grants character bonuses. Ownership and collection counts are shared by characters on the same server.

Genus Insight

Analysis consumes the family’s soul crystals and Kina. Each family can reach level 10. Higher levels improve access to stronger effects and additional effect slots. Locking an effect retains it but increases analysis cost. Souls for a maximum-level pet convert into family crystals. Insight progress and crystals are shared on the server.

Automatic looting

The guide describes automatic looting as a time-limited item purchased from the in-game shop. Its remaining time is character-specific and appears in the pet menu.
